Long, long ago, deep in the mist
of time, the Great D’Og in the sky made it rain upon the land below.
During that time strange things fell out of the sky like buckets, stair
rods and men. In Og Bog it was said to have rained cats and dogs.
The land was a gloomy place, so drenched in swirling
fog and mist that for most of the time it was dark. Sticky, wallowing
bogs stretched for miles and miles. However Og Bog often saw the sun so
the cats and dogs stayed on…
To the north lie the Foot hills and Paw hills; beyond
these lurk the dense Strangling Forest and the Cold Chilling Mountains,
which give rise to several rivers, slicing their way through the bogs
to the undulating Nasty Tasting Water.
